Dr. Raj Kesharwani serves as associate professor of business in the School of Business and Applied Business at 麻豆传媒应用. He was awarded tenure in 2025. He earned a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, an M.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and, most recently, a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Born in Mumbai, India, he has previously worked in the engineering design and manufacturing domain for a major OEM of the energy sector based in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Kesharwani's research is focused on energy; education; and economic, societal, and environmental sustainability. His research has been published in journals, such as Applied Energy; International Journal of Energy Research; Sustainability and Climate Change; Journal of Business, Economics, and Technology; Issues in Information Systems; and American Journal of Qualitative Research.
